Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner plans to meet with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley to discuss LGBT issues worldwide.
Jenner has met before with officials at the Department of Education, and has a pending meeting with Haley, Jenner said on “The View.” Jenner didn’t say when the meeting would take place.
Jenner, a Republican, reportedly went to the White House in April to meet with President Trump. Despite voting for Trump, Jenner has been critical of his policies toward transgender people.
Jenner warned Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions of possible court action in February, in a video that responded to the Trump administration’s decision to repeal guidelines on public school bathrooms for transgender students.
“I have a message for the bullies: You’re sick,” Jenner said. “And because you’re weak you pick on kids, you pick on women or anyone else you think is vulnerable. Apparently even becoming the attorney general isn’t enough to cure some people of their insecurities.”
