FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair is set to speak before more than 850 metro area real estate, affordable housing and banking professionals Monday.
Bair will talk at the Annual Meeting of the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND) to be held at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner at noon.
With the recent boom and bust of the area’s housing market, Bair’s perspective on the housing crisis and the economy should be interesting.
Also likely to be interesting will be the Q & A with attendees; Bair will not be taking press questions during the event.
