The body of a Hispanic male was discovered early Friday morning in some bushes near the Rockville Metrorail station Kiss & Ride parking area, Montgomery County police said.
A Metro employee discovered the body just before 5:45 a.m. as commuters began arriving, police said.
Montgomery County police spokesman Derek Baliles said the man’s body was taken to the medical examiner and did not comment on the cause of death or whether the man suffered any gunshot wounds. Baliles said the man’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
Police say they believe the incident might be connected to an earlier report of shots fired near East Montgomery Avenue and Moore Street.
