Green Party nominee Jill Stein said picking either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton as president would yield disastrous results.
“To me, one is death by gunshot wound and the other one is death by strangulation,” Stein told Politico. “Neither one of them is acceptable.”
But Stein said that Clinton may more quickly damage the country than Trump. “Under Donald Trump, you know, we’ve seen the foundation of the Republican Party move into the Democratic Party, so Donald Trump, I think, will have a lot of trouble moving things through Congress,” Stein told Politico. “Hillary has the potential to do a whole lot more damage, get us into more wars, faster to pass her fracking disastrous climate program, much more easily than Donald Trump could do his. So I think it’s arguable about which one will wind up being more harmful to us.”
Stein failed to qualify for the first presidential debate, which will feature Trump and Clinton in New York next week. North Dakota police have also issued a warrant for her arrest because of her actions at an environmental protest there.
