Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., warned about the elimination of net neutrality on Twitter Tuesday, saying that its end will kill the mood for couples streaming shows.
“Without #NetNeutrality when a couple is streaming their favorite #Netflix show but it keeps lagging and killing the mood, who will be to blame?” the tweet states.

Net neutrality, the idea that service providers must treat all data on the Internet the same without discriminate treatment to any method of communication whether by user, platform or application, was repealed by the Federal Communications Commission last fall.
Congressional Democrats introduced a resolution to reverse the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality rules Tuesday.
