A water main extension project will begin in the Jessup area of Howard County on Sept. 8.
Workers will construct about 1,000 linear feet of eight-inch water main piping, said Don Lieu, the project manager with the Department of Public Works.
Westbound traffic on Mission Road from the intersection of Pleasant Chase Road will be occasionally shifted to the eastbound lanes during the project, officials said.
