Rep. Paul Gosar’s censure didn’t quite end on Wednesday.
Hosts on The View condemned the Arizona Republican on Thursday for a social media post of a doctored anime video that many have denounced as violent.
“Immigration and inflation … those are big issues,” said Sara Haines. “This was easy. This was an easy vote to show you have any integrity because when your kid comes home and says, ‘Someone drew a picture of me, and they’re getting in trouble,’ what are you going to say? ‘Well, what was the endgame? We can work through this.’ Or are you going to say, ‘That’s a problem.'”

The House censured Gosar on Wednesday after he tweeted an anime video edited to show himself in a violent fight with President Joe Biden and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat.
“Yesterday, I was really perturbed — I was really saddened,” said Ana Navarro. “I really do believe that we need two functioning parties in this country. The Republican Party showed yesterday in that spectacle that it is broken to the core. I think it is what Trump has unleashed — this ugly underbelly that he legitimized and empowered.”
