Metro plans a number of station closures and rail detours this weekend, as track crews are scheduled to replace track switches and perform other safety and maintenance work.
The Farragut West and McPherson Square Metro stations will be closed beginning Friday night, and the McPherson Square and Metro Center stations will be closed to Orange and Blue Line riders. All are scheduled to reopen Tuesday morning.
Yellow and Red Line work will also cause delays.
