Michael Moore believes ‘evil genius’ Trump will win re-election

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore says he is going about life as if “evil genius” President Trump will be a two-term president.

“Too many people in the summer of 2016 were so sure Hillary [Clinton] was going to win, saying no one is going to vote for this idiot,” Moore said on CNN while talking about his new film about Trump’s victory, “Fahrenheit 11/9.”

“He could win again. I operate as if he is a two-term Trump. I have to. If you think any other way you are guaranteeing that whoever is going to run against him will lose,” he said.

Moore said Trump was able to figure out how to win, despite all signs showing he was losing, and historians could be stumped for years to come trying to figure out how he pulled it off.

“I think the man is an evil genius and he was able to outsmart the smartest person ever to run for president,” Moore said.

“Fahrenheit 11/9” opens in theaters Thursday. Moore said in June he was releasing the documentary before the midterm elections in November in an effort to “bring Trump down.”
