SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A man was killed after he was struck by a Metrolink train that was leaving the Santa Ana station.
The man was walking on the tracks when the southbound train hit him around 7:40 p.m. Monday.
The Orange County Register reports (http://bit.ly/1vaO7W4 ) that he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has not been identified. Authorities are investigating why he was on the tracks.
