The Washington Examiner’s Sarah Westwood talked with Neil Cavuto on Thursday about the damage President Joe Biden’s economic policies have done to the commander in chief’s credibility.
“I think the Biden administration has completely blown its credibility when it comes to matters of the economy because they’ve gotten every single economic question wrong since the start of Biden’s presidency,” Westwood said.
Instead, the administration blames “Big Oil,” “low unemployment,” “corporate greed,” and “Vladimir Putin.”

“None of that has borne out to be true,” Westwood added. “Americans aren’t buying what the administration has been selling when it comes to inflation. … It’s hard to take the White House’s word for it.”
Meanwhile, the Biden administration continues to pursue policies surrounding student loan debt cancellation and increasing government spending.
“Republicans could easily weaponize that,” Westwood said.
