Stay tuned, Sean Hannity told his audience.
Less than a week into President Biden’s tenure, the Fox News host advertised new developments in the controversy surrounding the commander in chief’s son, Hunter Biden.
He did so on Thursday, teasing part two of an interview he recorded with John Paul Mac Isaac, who owned the Delaware repair shop that received a laptop and a hard drive that purportedly belonged to the younger Biden and was later seized by the FBI.
“The bigger part of that interview, part two, tomorrow, news that hasn’t broken before,” Hannity said.
The host also played a clip of Mac Isaac talking about what he saw in the hard drive, a copy of which he claims to still possess.
“I saw material of a very personal nature. I don’t want to, obviously, go into it. I don’t feel comfortable about talking about the personal stuff,” he said.
The younger Biden’s financial dealings are the subject of federal investigation. Neither is said to implicate President Biden, and Hunter Biden claims he did nothing wrong. Nevertheless, critics such as Hannity have made clear that they will stay focused on the controversy throughout the Biden presidency.
“Let’s not forget about our ongoing Hannity investigation into the corrupt Biden foreign family business. We are told and I’ve been told and I’ve been briefed by people that know that the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop are beyond disturbing,” Hannity said on the day of Biden’s inauguration, appearing to allude to allegedly explicit materials Trump personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani says he also obtained from the hard drive and sent to police.
