BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A Baton Rouge-based company has agreed to pay more than $67,000 in back wages and other compensation to 52 masonry workers following a Labor Department probe.

The department said Thursday that its investigators concluded that W.D. Masonry LLC paid employees at “straight time” rates for all hours they worked instead of compensating them at overtime rates. The company also allegedly failed to maintain accurate payroll records.
