Former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman tweeted Friday he hopes President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have an amicable meeting that ends with the leader of the rogue regime donning a “Make America Great Again” hat.
“Hoping for this after my two friends and leaders meet next month. #Peace #Love #NotWar #Diplomacy,” Rodman tweeted.
Rodman’s tweet included a doctored photo of Kim wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

The NBA hall of famer has traveled to North Korea several times and has referred to Kim as “a friend for life.” Rodman knows Trump from his time on Trump’s NBC show “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Trump agreed this month to a historic meeting with Kim, though it’s unclear when and where the gathering will take place.
The North Korean dictator traveled to China this week for a meeting with President Xi Jinping, which raised questions as to whether it would affect Trump’s impending meeting with Kim.
After the meeting, Trump tweeted that the odds of a denuclearized Korean Peninsula rose from “not even a small possibility” to a “good chance.”
“For years and through many administrations, everyone said that peace and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was not even a small possibility. Now there is a good chance that Kim Jong Un will do what is right for his people and for humanity. Look forward to our meeting!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said this week the administration is “going to be cautiously optimistic.”
“We feel things are moving in the right direction and that the meeting yesterday was a good indication that the maximum pressure campaign has been working,” she said Wednesday. “You saw him leave for the first time to—since becoming the leader of North Korea—leaving his country for the first time for that meeting. And we consider that to be a positive sign that the maximum pressure campaign is continuing to work. And we’re going to continue moving forward in this process in hopes for a meeting down the road.”
