BOSTON (Legal Newsline) – A former employee of a company that manufactures devices for spinal diseases claims she was wrongfully terminated after she exposed deficiencies in some of the company’s devices.
Patricia Katz filed the lawsuit on April 28 against her former employer SpineFrontier claiming she tried to tell executives at the company that the defects were present but they didn’t correct the issues. She claims the company was violating the False Claims Act and was fired in retaliation for bringing the problem to light, which would also be in violation of the FCA.
