Donald Trump took a trip to the Golden Arches on Thursday to celebrate reaching 1,237 delegates and clinching the Republican presidential nomination.
Shortly after delivering a speech about energy policy in Bismarck, N.D., Trump boarded his private plane and snapped a picture of him eating an order of McDonald’s fries and a Big Mac.
“Celebrating 1,237!” the billionaire captioned the photo.
Despite his wealth, Trump admitted earlier this year that fast food giants McDonald’s and Burger King are among his favorite meals on the campaign trail.
“It’s great stuff,” he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper during a town hall in February. “The other night I had Kentucky Fried Chicken — not the worst thing in the world.”
