President Obama Saturday used his family’s trip to Yosemite National Park to call for enhanced efforts to reverse global warming.
“The parks belong to all of us. This planet belongs to all of us,” Obama said during remarks in Yosemite.
The president cited progress combating global warming but added, “We’ve got to do a lot more.”
The Obamas Friday were in Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. They return to Washington from Yosemite Sunday.
The president also called for more people to be able to see the national parks. “We’ve got kids who never see a park,” he said.
