BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The U.S. Attorney’s office in Buffalo wants to get the public involved in crime-fighting efforts in a troubled section of the city.
U.S. Attorney William Hochul will hold a “Take Back Our Streets” forum on Tuesday to encourage residents of the east side to share information about crime in the neighborhood and who is committing it.
Representatives from the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, Buffalo and state police will be there, along with area clergy and community activists.
The forum is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Frederick Law Olmsted School.
