ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A 27-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting inside a New Jersey bar last month has been captured in western New York.
Local media outlets in Rochester say U.S. Marshals took Andre Green into custody Wednesday night at a downtown location.
Authorities say Green was considered armed and dangerous after the Sept. 15 shooting inside a Paterson, New Jersey, bar.
Police say Green got into a fight with his girlfriend inside Moya Bar and Liquors and 27-year-old Antoine Garris interceded. Officials say Green returned about 15 minutes later and shot Garris multiple times.
Green has been charged with murder by New Jersey authorities.
