The American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference scheduled for next year has been canceled.
The pro-Israel lobbying group said it was canceling the event due to “uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic,” AIPAC President Betsy Berns Korn said in the announcement on Sunday.

The conference was scheduled for March 7-9 in Washington, D.C., and has usually been attended by policymakers from both parties.
Korn said AIPAC will “continue to find new and creative ways over the coming year for us to connect online and in person to advance the U.S.-Israel relationship.”
A number of large gatherings in the coming months have been canceled or postponed, and some companies, including Facebook and Twitter, have told employees they can work from home permanently.
