Former ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, who was governor of Utah before serving in the Obama administration, has just announced that he’s running for president. Huntsman joins the Republican field of at least seven others (Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Ron Paul, and Newt Gingrich), with others still possibly considering entry (Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, Rick Perry, John Thune, Sarah Palin, Rudy Giuliani, George Pataki, John Bolton, Tom Coburn, Jim DeMint, and Mike Huckabee).
