WATCH: Tom Brady surprises pediatric cancer survivor with Super Bowl tickets

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady sent a surprise message to 10-year-old brain cancer survivor Noah Reeb Saturday.

In the message, Brady told Reeb he remembered the “Tom Brady Helped Me Beat Brain Cancer” sign that Reeb held during the Buccaneers’ week seven win over the Chicago Bears in October.

“Hey, Noah, what’s up, man?” Brady began in his message. “We’re grinding, getting ready to start the playoffs, but earlier, you held up that sign that I helped you beat brain cancer. Well, listen, your fight — you’ve inspired so many people, including myself, but millions of others also, and the NFL and the Bucs look forward to sending deserving fans to the Super Bowl each year, and fans that have incredible stories like the one you’ve had.”

Brady also told Reeb that he wanted to thank him for being an inspiration to so many while Reeb watched.

“So, as a thank you, I worked with both the Bucs and the NFL to get you and your family Super Bowl tickets this year in LA!” Brady told the 10-year-old. “We certainly hope to be there, but I know you’re going to be there. It’s going to be really cool for all of us. Glad to see you are doing well. Take care, man, and enjoy the tickets. Let’s go.”

The video showed Reeb watching the message while wearing a Tampa Bay jersey and “Crucial Cap,” a hat Brady gave him that the NFL has marketed to help raise cancer awareness. Reeb is then seen opening the tickets in the video, telling Brady, “Thank you.”

Early in 2021, Brady learned of Reeb’s battle against cancer and sent him a video message to encourage him, according to Inside the NFL.

Jacque Reeb, the boy’s mother, said he was having a hard day, and a text message came with the video of Brady.

“Tears were shed,” she said. “We watched it a hundred times and continued to watch it. He used to replay it in the hospital. When he was going through hard times, he’d watch the video, and we’d remind him, ‘Tom Brady thinks you’re tough. You must be pretty tough.’”
