Apple reportedly pulled five applications from its App Store late Friday that are associated with Infowars, the website founded by far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
An Apple spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal the technology company removed the apps for violating its guidelines for developers, which prohibit content that is “offensive, insensitive, upsetting…or in exceptionally poor taste.” However, she did not specify what exactly triggered the decision.
