Obama Grants Interview … But With Requirements

On Monday, WKRC reporter Cammy Dierking talked about going to the White House and interviewing President Obama. However, it seems the interview was conditional.

Dierking noted, “I was invited to the White House along with five other news anchors from around the country. And really the only requirement we had was that one of our questions to President Obama had to do with the Supreme Court nominee, his nominee, Merrick Garland, Judge Merrick Garland.”

This isn’t the first time President Obama’s administration was revealed to have given access in exchange for specific coverage.

In February, the Hillary Clinton emails revealed that a reporter received an advance copy of Clinton’s speech in return for favorable coverage.
