Model Gigi Hadid was among the potential jurors summoned in Harvey Weinstein’s sex crimes trial.
Hadid, 24, told Judge James Burke that she’d met the former film producer before, as well as one of the potential witnesses, actress Salma Hayek.
“I think I’m still able to keep an open mind on the facts,” she said, while seated about 20 feet away from Weinstein, according to New York Daily News reporter Molly Crane-Newman.

Hadid, seated about 20 feet away from Weinstein, told Judge Burke that she’d met the defendant before but still felt she could judge the case impartially. She also said that she’d met potential witness Salma Hayek.

Hayek, 53, is among dozens of women accusing Weinstein of sexual misconduct, from unwanted touching to rape. Hayak alleged Weinstein, 67, asked her to shower with him and made offers of massages and oral sex.
Hadid is also friends with 27-year-old actress and model Cara Delevingne, who accused Weinstein of trying to kiss her after making inappropriate comments about her sexuality.
Video showed Hadid leaving the Manhattan courthouse shortly before 1 p.m. Hadid said she was excited for jury duty last week on her Instagram stories.
