A stripper who had the words “special kinda crazy” tattooed across her chest was found guilty of murdering her boyfriend’s son.
Roena Mills, 42, was seen carrying the severed head of Bo White, 29, along a West Virginia highway. Authorities found her covered in blood and holding a pocket knife when they entered her Lerona, West Virginia, home on Easter Sunday in 2018.
Mills began dating Bo White’s father, James White, after meeting him at Southern X-Posure, a gentleman’s club she worked at in West Virginia. Mills allegedly would sleep with Bo White in exchange for pills and cash. During her arrest, she screamed, “Take me back, and let me get my heads.”
Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney George Sitler told WVNS, “If ever there was a case where life without mercy was appropriate, it’s this case. This was a savage killing and decapitation.”
The coroner confirmed that White’s death was due to multiple stab wounds and injuries to the head and body. Sitler told the jury that Mills was a drug addict who had stolen White’s money and pills before texting a friend and saying, “Let’s party.”
He said after the verdict: “She savors what she’s done. She revels in it. She thinks it’s the greatest achievement of her life, and I think that’s what affected the jury.”
