Three Maryland teenagers were arrested Wednesday after an alleged crime spree that included assault, robbery, and attempted carjackings.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department from the Third and Sixth Districts as well as the Carjacking Task Force arrested a 13-year-old and 15-year-old after they carried out eight different crimes over several hours, police said in a press release obtained by the Washington Examiner. A 17-year-old was arrested by both the MPD and the Prince George’s County Police Department after being discovered in a stolen car.
“In each offense, the suspects approached the victim and demanded property while armed with a handgun,” police said. “The suspects would then flee the scene in a vehicle.”
