Did Bruce Willis use a casting department as his own personal dating service? A report in Page Six claims the newlywed, a former longtime ladies’ man, met bride Emma Hemming on the set of his movie “Perfect Stranger” two years ago — but it wasn’t exactly a chance encounter.
“Bruce was very involved with the casting,” a source dished to the paper. “In fact, you could say he was extremely involved no matter how minor the role.”
The action star is even said to have had the casting people call modeling agencies to seek young women to fill these small parts.
“He personally went through head shots and when the girls were called in to ‘read,’ he was there in the meeting,” the source recalls.
The “Die Hard” star allegedly started out by simultaneously dating both Emma and another model “with whom he coincidentally enough had a sex scene,” says the source —“but obviously, Emma eventually won out.”

Twitter Split?
Apparently, the new online phenomenon Twitter has already been responsible for the demise of a high-profile romance. According to Star magazine, Jennifer Aniston got fed up with John Mayer and dumped him because he cared more about “tweeting” than spending time with her.
“John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her e-mails, and when she would finally catch up with him, he’d say: ‘I’ve been so busy with work. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to call you back,’” a source said. “Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn’t have time for her, and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates.
“He didn’t even deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she called him on it and ended things, he just said ‘OK,’ and that he was sorry it didn’t work out,” adds the source. “He took the breakup like a man.”
In place of “man,” we would say “Internet-addicted geek,” but that’s just us.
Madonna Moves On
Though Scoop! recently told you that he was eager to settle down and adopt children with her, apparently Madonna has already tired of boy-toy Jesus Lux. The 50-year-old pop icon dumped the 22-year-old Brazilian model, says the U.K.’s Daily Star. Why? Well, she’s worried the affair will hurt her chances to adopt another Malawi child … and, oh yeah, she allegedly saw pictures of him in the arms of a gorgeous 22-year-old woman.
The former Mrs. Guy Ritchie “has just come out of a very long and difficult relationship,” a source says. “She was drawn to Jesus. But it was just a bit of fun and she’s enjoyed herself. But she is growing bored of the relationship and her family comes first.”
Plus, maybe she got sick of the religious-name jokes.
