Los Angeles has been good to Andrew Yang. After giving one of his strongest performances at the sixth Democratic debate hosted by PBS/Politico on Thursday night, Yang’s campaign announced that a top celebrity would be joining his team as a creative consultant.

Yang tweeted on Wednesday that Donald Glover would join him at a pop-up event in LA and act in an advisory role for the campaign going forward. Glover, who goes by the stage name Childish Gambino, is the creator and star of the hit show Atlanta and is known for his roles in Solo: A Star Wars Story and the 2019 version of The Lion King. Glover sold T-shirts, sweaters, hats, and posters at the event co-hosted with Yang.
