Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Tuesday called President Trump’s five-nation Asia trip a “colossal flop” and hit the president for having a “love for dictators” that he exhibited during the trip.
“I have never been so ashamed of a foreign trip in my years. It’s just inside-out,” Schumer said while speaking on the Senate floor, pointing to Trump’s refusal to call the Chinese out for their unfair trade practices like he did on the campaign trail.
