Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., has introduced a resolution saying it’s the sense of the House that the best way to respond when the national anthem is played is to “face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over their heart.”

Her resolution, introduced Monday, would amount to guidance for everyone in the United States, at a time when more and more people are deciding to take a knee when the anthem is played at sporting events.
