Fox News prime-time host Sean Hannity was advised by two more lawyers who have direct ties to President Trump, according to the Atlantic.
The Atlantic reports that Victoria Toensing and Jay Alan Sekulow identified themselves as Hannity’s attorneys in a letter sent to KFAQ, a radio station in Tulsa, Okla., in May of last year.
Sekulow is the only personal attorney on President Trump’s legal team working full-time in response to the investigation conducted by special counsel Robert Mueller. Toensing and her husband, Joseph E. diGenova, were also hired to join Trump’s legal team last month regarding the Russia probe but the decision was ultimately reversed.
The letter sent to the Oklahoma radio station was written in response to an appearance from conservative activist Debbie Schlussel who said on the Pat Campbell show that Hannity was “creepy” toward her and that the Fox News host asked her to come to his hotel room. Hannity has denied those allegations.
Sekulow, diGenova, and Toensing have all been frequent guests on Hannity’s prime-time opinion show, and diGenova appeared on the show Monday night.
Hannity has come under fire this week after news surfaced revealing the Fox News host to be the third mystery client of Michael Cohen, President Trump’s longtime attorney. Hannity has since denied the claims.
