Arlington’s real estate tax rate will remain steady in the next fiscal year.
The County Board told County Manager Barbara Donnellan to maintain the current rate of 95.8 cents per $100 in her final fiscal 2012 budget, on which the board will vote Saturday. Some taxpayers’ bills will still increase, however, thanks to a 6.3 percent rise in property assessments.
Donnellan’s original proposed budget also kept the tax rate steady, though the board had advertised a one-cent increase in February.
