Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said he would be “happy to meet” attorney Michael Avenatti “on the mat,” after Avenatti suggested he go against Donald Trump Jr. in a mixed martial arts fight.
“It’s ridiculous that @MichaelAvenatti would even challenge @DonaldJTrumpJr to a fight,” Mullin, a former professional mixed martial arts fighter, tweeted Tuesday. “But if he’s looking for a publicity stunt, I‘d be more than happy to meet him on the mat.”
