Politico and Buzzfeed are among the news outlets being kept out of French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen’s watch party for election results Sunday.
According to tweets from the news outlets, the European branches of both outlets were banned from covering Le Pen’s gathering in Paris to watch election results come in. Both Buzzfeed and Politico were blacklisted by President Trump’s campaign last year.
“POLITICO barred from National Front event tonight in Paris, along with several other publications,” said Michael Kaminski, editor of Politico Europe in a tweet.

“@BuzzFeedFRpol is among several media outlets that didn’t get press credentials to be at Le Pen’s HQ for tonight because ‘not enough space,'” Buzzfeed News’ account tweeted.

About a dozen news outlets were banned from the party, according to a Politico report. Many news organizations from around the world were allowed in to cover the proceedings and the hotel space where the party is being held has room for about 500 people.
