“The report is 100 percent false,” RNC spokesman Sean Spicer told the Washington Examiner. He made the same statement on Twitter in a response to an MSNBC host who made the claim that staffers were being told “to do what’s best for them” in terms of whether to retain employment with the party.

Reports based on unnamed sources have alleged the party is dealing with internal dissent after the Friday publication of remarks made by Donald Trump in 2005 in which he used vulgar language about women.
The reports came after RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and campaign manager Kellyanne Conway cancelled interviews that had been scheduled for Sunday. The campaign said Priebus, along with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, would spend the weekend assisting their with preparation for Sunday evening’s presidential debate in St. Louis.
