Webb speech on national security postponed

A speech on national security from U.S. Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., has been postponed due to Tuesday’s all-day Senate impeachment proceedings of Judge Thomas Porteus, the senator’s office announced.

Webb was scheduled to deliver a speech on the need for a set of governing principles for national security at the National Press Club Tuesday at 10 a.m.

A new date will be announced shortly, according to his office.
