Trump supporter interrupts Bill Maher’s show to criticize him for ‘trashing our great president’

Comedian Bill Maher’s live-taping of Real Time with Bill Maher was interrupted by a Trump supporter Friday night while the host discussed national intelligence with conservative commentator Buck Sexton.

While they were talking about Rep. John Ratcliffe’s decision to pull back from the nomination of Director of National Intelligence, a pro-Trump heckler stood up and shouted at Maher for slamming President Trump.

“Instead of trashing our great president, our great country — ” the protester said before he was drowned out in boos by the crowd.

“I do not know him, by the way. I do not know him,” Sexton quickly responded.

“I see you brought a guest,” Maher joked to Sexton.

“This is not the first time I’ve had to go into the audience, but we’ve got to get faster moving security people, I’m telling you,” Maher added. “I know you’re going to make America great again. You’ve made your point — I don’t know what it was, but you’ve made your point. And I think your point was that you like Trump, and there are a lot of people who like Trump.”

Maher told security to “make sure he doesn’t have a gun” as the man was accompanied out of the building.
