Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of President Trump on SNL may not last “much longer,” the liberal actor says.
“His policies aside, which you can hate, I thought he would have just relaxed,” Baldwin said in an interview with Extra. “The maliciousness of this White House has people worried, which is why I’m not going to do it much longer, the impersonation. I don’t know how much more people can take it.”
Baldwin, who said he had not rehearsed the impersonation of the president before the first show, slammed the president.
“Trump just overwhelmingly lacks any kind of sportsmanship,” he said. “He remains bitter and angry. And you just want to look at him and go, ‘You won!'”
Trump is no fan: “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me,” he tweeted in October. “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”
