A bank robbery suspect turned himself into the FBI on Friday after the suspect?s employer saw the man?s picture in The Examiner.
FBI agent Michelle Crnkovich, an agency spokeswoman, said the suspect has a tattoo and is wanted in connection with robberies in White Marsh and Perry Hall.
“His supervisor saw his picture in the paper and told him that he would either turn himself in or the supervisor would turn him in,” Crnkovich said.
She did not have the man?s name, age or address immediately available.
The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force officials said they believe the suspect ? whom bank security cameras show with a distinguishable sun tattoo ? robbed the Bank of America in the 7900 block of Honeygo Boulevard in White Marsh last Friday and the Wachovia Bank in the 8800 block of Bel Air Road in Perry Hall last Saturday.
At the same time, authorities seek another man wanted in two unrelated bank robberies.
Agents have released a photo of the man, who is considered armed and dangerous, robbing the Wachovia Bank on the 1200 block of North Charles Street on May 8 and the Bank of America at 1800 E. Monument St. in Baltimore on May 10.
The suspect is described as a black man, 6 feet tall, weighing about 165 pounds, with brown eyes, a dark complexion and a bald head.
Authorities ask anyone who has information about the man to contact the Baltimore division of the FBI at 410-265-8080.
