Former 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is praising Donald Trump for selecting Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate.
“Mike Pence is a good man. He will add value to the ticket,” Bush tweeted.

Hours earlier, the Florida governor had published an op-ed bashing Trump, writing he did not know if he could support the billionaire businessman come November.
“I haven’t decided how I’ll vote in November — whether I’ll support the Libertarian ticket or write in a candidate — but I do know there are a lot of things Republicans can do in the coming months to lay the groundwork for rebuilding our party and the foundation for a true conservative renewal in our country,” Bush wrote in the Washington Post.
Despite signing the GOP party’s pledge to support the eventual nominee, Bush has not endorsed Trump.
Bush, who would have been the third family member to hold the Oval Office, had largely been expected to sweep the GOP race before Trump won over voters during the primary season.
Bush spoke highly of Pence in March of last year, defending him for signing the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
