An early morning fire caused significant damage to a Temple Hills tattoo parlor, Prince George’s County fire officials said.
Fire department spokesman Mark Brady said firefighters responded to a fire at a strip mall in the 3200 block of Brinkley Road about 5 a.m. Wednesday. The business, Celebrity Ink, sustained $40,000 worth of damage, but firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to other stores, Brady said. There were no injuries, he said.
Investigators determined that the fire was caused by overloaded extension cords.
