Ken Bone, the red sweater-wearing voter who went viral after asking a question during a 2016 presidential debate, endorsed businessman Andrew Yang for president in the 2020 election.
Bone uploaded a video on social media on Sunday night one day before the Iowa caucuses. He “pleaded” with Iowa voters to “get Andrew Yang to the next level.”
“You guys know I don’t endorse candidates. Except for when I do. I’m fully on board, #YangGang all the way! Iowa, we need you. Tomorrow at 6:30 we can make this a caucus to remember!” Bone wrote on Twitter.

Bone foreshadowed his endorsement in an earlier tweet, writing: “The Iowa caucus is tomorrow. It’s a critical step in what’s already been a grueling election cycle. Show them what we got #YangGang.”

During the second debate of the 2016 presidential election, Bone asked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and then-candidate Donald Trump a question about energy and the environment.
His look, defined by a mustache and red sweater, quickly became a viral hit, leading to a large Twitter following and inspiring many Halloween costumes that year.
