Despite bombings and missile strikes hitting apartment complexes, schools, and medical facilities throughout Ukraine, Putin and officials working closely with him insist Russian troops are only bombing military targets.
While walking next to a destroyed apartment building along a road covered in debris, journalist Chris Reason with Australia’s 7 News Sydney asked Klitschko for his thoughts.
“Bulls***! Sorry,” Klitschko said before pointing at the bombed apartment building next to them. “Where’s [the] military target? Is this building a military target?”

Video of the interview has gone viral on social media and is being called “one of the all-time greatest interviews.”
Reason, who originally posted the interview, said, “Klitschko delivers knockout sound bites that get straight to the point.”
Twitter users have replied with their support.
One Twitter user said Klitschko “is iconic and has my respect.”
Another said he agreed with Klitschko’s sentiment.
I agree with Klitschko: Putin is losing in this guerilla warfare, so his only option is to target civilians, hoping that Ukraine will capitulate to stop the carnage. Either that or the Russians are using blind soldiers in their targeting.

In a LinkedIn post published last month, Klitschko wrote Putin has made his intentions clear.
“Putin makes it clear that he wants to destroy the Ukrainian state and the sovereignty of its people,” he said.

Klitschko also said it is difficult to account for the number of civilians who have died or been injured while speaking to reporters regarding another apartment complex bombing.
