Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman has called upon D.C. Mayor Vince Gray and Council Chairman Kwame Brown to testify at a hearing next week on school vouchers.
House Republicans are pushing to revive vouchers in the District and Speaker John Boehner has already introduced a bill to make it happen.
The hearing could bring some insight into how Gray and Brown will handle differences of opinion going forward. Gray is a staunch voucher opponent and Brown supports them.
