WATCH: Actress fired for mocking fallen officer and saying funeral inconvenienced her

A New York City actress was fired from her job and faced online backlash after she mocked a fallen police officer and blamed his funeral for inconveniencing her day.

Jacqueline Guzman was annoyed by the efforts to respect the death of New York City Police Department Detective Jason Rivera, according to a report.

Rivera, 22, was killed on Jan. 21 while responding to a domestic dispute, and thousands of people attended his Friday funeral service.

Guzman was not one of those individuals.

Instead, the aspiring actress took to social media to vent her frustrations surrounding the road closures and inconveniences the rookie officer’s service had caused, according to the report.

“We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly,” she said in a video posted to her TikTok page. “They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason, and we don’t shut down the city for them.”

“Like this is f***ing ridiculous. This is f***ing ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area. Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f***er.”

The video went viral, and Guzman made a futile attempt to delete the video.

The actress was ridiculed as copies of her video flooded the internet.

When her theater company, Face to Face Films, discovered the footage, Guzman was fired immediately, the report noted.
