By a margin of 13 percentage points (53 to 40 percent), Americans support the repeal of Obamacare. According to the latest Rasmussen poll of likely voters, Americans think Obamacare would increase the deficit, increase health costs, and reduce the quality of care—the direct opposite of President Obama’s claims on all three fronts.
By a margin of almost 3 to 1 (53 to 18 percent), Americans think Obamacare would increase, rather than reduce, deficit spending. By a nearly identical margin (52 to 18 percent), they think it would increase, rather than reduce, health costs. And by a margin of more than 2 to 1 (50 to 23 percent), they think it would reduce, rather than improve, the quality of care.
