Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, along with three other outspoken liberal congresswomen known as “the squad,” addressed President Trump’s recent tweets telling them to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
Pressley offered a warning to those that work against them, saying, “We are more than four people … our squad is big.”
She further condemned the conditions faced by migrants at the southern U.S. border and called for complete the decriminalizing of unauthorized border crossings.
She also criticized the president’s tweeting as a distraction from the “callous, chaotic, and corrupt culture” of the Trump administration.
