Attorney Lin Wood, who has repeatedly promoted conspiracy theories claiming President Trump won the presidential election, is now directing anger toward the president’s chief of staff Mark Meadows.
The Georgia-based attorney has rebuked Republicans he said he thinks are not sufficiently loyal to the president and his attempts to win the election even after it was decided. Meadows is the latest person to receive Wood’s criticism, days after it was reported he allegedly stiff-armed fellow pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell, who has made similar claims to Wood.
On Saturday morning, Wood said that “something is not right” about Meadows, claiming that he “know[s] for a fact that” the president’s chief of staff has “a hidden agenda against” the president and called for him to be “fired immediately.”
I only know that @MarkMeadows is clinically dishonest & disloyal to @realDonaldTrump.
I also know Meadows has a history of protecting male colleagues & not protecting female colleagues who have complained to him about mistreatment.

Wood called Meadows “another swamp rat” and said he is “clinically dishonest and disloyal.” He claimed “Meadows has a history of protecting male colleagues & not protecting female colleagues who have complained to him about mistreatment” but did not provide any details or evidence to support the latter claim.
Last week, Powell was in the Oval Office in a meeting about the president’s plans to continue to contest the election results. Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, White House counsel Pat Cipollone, and former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, Powell’s client who was recently pardoned by Trump, were in the meeting in which the idea of the president appointing Powell special counsel designated to investigate voter fraud was discussed.
Many officials in Washington, DC have a hidden agenda against @realDonaldTrump.
I know for a fact that one of them is @MarkMeadows. He needs to be fired immediately.
Ask Mark how he liked my telephone conversation with him a few days ago.
Mark is a traitor to We The People.

In subsequent trips to the White House in the days that followed the meeting, Powell told the Washington Examiner that certain administration officials were blocking her from the president.
Meadows and Cipollone reportedly strongly opposed the ideas mentioned in the meeting. Cipollone was also criticized by Wood on Saturday morning.
“I understand Pat Cipollone drives a different exotic luxury care every few days to the White House,” Wood said. “Even a Rolls Royce! Pat is all about money. The Devil’s greatest tool. Love of money is the root of all evil. Ask Pat, [Meadows] & [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell. All are corrupt.”
McConnell has recognized Joe Biden as president-elect and has discouraged his members from engaging in additional efforts to secure another term for Trump, which has spurred criticism from the president.
“Mitch, 75,000,000 VOTES, a record for a sitting President (by a lot),” Trump said. “Too soon to give up. Republican Party must finally learn to fight. People are angry!”
