Neiman Marcus has announced Nov. 12 as the official opening date for its off-price store, Last Call Studio, in Rockville’s Congressional Plaza shopping center.
The Rockville location is one of two Last Call Studios Neiman is opening this fall (the second is in Paramus, N.J.) The studio stores are different from the brand’s outlet stores (Last Call Outlets) in that the clothing is not unsold inventory from a Neiman Marcus but is bought directly for the off-price store.
The studio stores will have clothing for the “value-minded” consumer, featuring in-season merchandise from designers such as Joie, Lafayette 148, Vince and 7 For All Mankind, the news release said.
And for those who don’t want to brave Rockville Pike, the company is starting up a new website that will include a section called Fashion Dash where shoppers will be offered timed sales for the day.
